Professional Background
Greg Thorson joined University of Redlands in July 2008 with a distinguished record of research in public policy. Much of his scholarship focuses on education policy, health care policy, and the policy process. His research has been published in leading journals in the field, including Journal of Politics, Political Research Quarterly, Congress and the Presidency, Educational Leadership, World Affairs, Journal of Poverty & Public Policy, and International Journal of Forecasting.
Professor Thorson played a leadership role in the creation of both the undergraduate major in public policy and the University’s master of public policy and administration program.
